Implication of COVID-19 crisis for small scale industries on human resource management practices

For any industry/organization to work properly, it should have human resource i.e. employees, money, raw material and Plant & Machines. Only Employees Human Resource Management (HRM) can use other resources put everything else into operations, as they can’t themselves. That is why one of the biggest departments in organization. It a function that deals with hiring, training safety, salary payment, performance, guidance, various areas. Coronavirus disease which also known COVID-19 an infectious caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. People who are infected this virus will mild moderate breathing problem recover without medical treatment. Small scale industries those provide products services at small/micro level. They make investment plant, machinery equipment where doesn’t exceed Rs. 10 crore their annual turnover fall below 50 crores. Objective study: To identify HR practices followed management small after how impacted employees within Problem statement: I observed COVID, organizations faced major financial crunch changed way operated market. department became more analytical while analyzing employee’s distributing bonuses increments. taken harsh measures keep organization going. Why shut down? operations go low? reduced? Study area: analyzed around food outlets restaurants my area 5 different categories outlets, over course month. tried identify; How operation/customer foot reduced first wave COVID? much number staffs on outlet? Conclusion: During study analysis, interpreted lock-down during pandemic, was very scary situation for all small-scale survive So, had necessary changes HR. pressure business running, working them perform utmost quality. So most made reducing salaries keeping only kept were performing well trained better performances.
